my name is Naila Adany.
I am a Media Production & Design student, currently awaiting for my graduation.
What I do
I have created and designed contents for my CCA’s social platforms, Dikir Barat RP and I was also the Project Supervisor for the Media Publications Team in IGNITE! Music Festival 2021.
Videography & editing has always been another one of my strengths. I was the Director of Photography for Reflections Arts Festival - a festival of music, dance, theatre and visual arts, as well as my Final Year Project with Housing & Development Board (HDB). I have also done freelance videography as a side hobby for friends’ and families’ engagements and weddings.

Videography & Video Editing
I’ve started video editing in early 2018-2019 which what sparked my interest to apply to my course through EAE. Since then, I’ve been involving myself in pre-production, production as well as post production.
Here are some of the works I have done since 2019 - 2023.
Engagement Montage, 2019
This was a mini personal project of mine. I wanted to capture my cousin’s special day and surprise her with a montage of her solemnization. This was shot and edited on an iPhone.
First Shots 4 Tik Tok Content, 2020
First Shots 4 is a student-run film fest in Republic Polytechnic’s School of Technology for the Arts. As a video editor, I edited a Tik Tok content introducing the crew of First Shots 4. This is one of my favourite edit.
DKRP Lebaran Catwalk, 2021
DKRP Lebaran is my CCA event where we come together to break our fast on the month of Ramadhan. One of the segment was featuring 2 batches of our members doing a catwalk with their traditional clothes.
Reflections Arts Festival 2021 - Symphonie De République XIII: Against All Odds
Symphonie De République is a musical performance by Republic Polytechnic’s Wind Symphony. This was my first production as a Director of Photography (DOP). I lead a video team of 4 other camera operators during this production.
Final Year Project, 2022
As part of my Final Year Project (FYP) in RP, my team was assigned to Housing Development Board (HDB) as our client. As the Director of Photography and Head Video Editor of the team, I was tasked to produce, shoot and edit 3-4 short videos relating to our campaign.

Solemnization & Wedding, 2022
My latest project with a friend was requested by a friend of ours for their wedding. Some of the videos were shot by me and I was the main editor for the montage.
Song choices were also requested by the bride & groom.
